We are aware of the uncertainty that causes not knowing what materials are used to make our wigs and how they are made. We have received a lot of questions about this issue and we know how important it is. We don't settle for just doing wigs, we also care about the social issues that involve cancer, the people that suffer from this disease and all the mental issues that can cause this illness. But it is also very important to us to take care of our planet and be ecological.

We want to remember that this isn´t just a company, it is also a tool to help all the people that have experienced cancer.

As we already have said, one of our main goals is to contribute to the improvement of the planet. That is why we have chosen to make our wigs with natural hair. First, we take measurements from the client's head to be able to create the base of the wig. Then, we use a mold to make things easier and we paint this base with the measures of the client. After this, we add a strip to the base of the wig to make it more stable. To finish with the first step of the creation of the wig, we sew a wire netting to the base of our product. 

The second step consists of choosing the type of natural hair that we are going to use, curly, straight or wavy hair. And we also choose the colour of our wig, making it clearer and clearer as you move down the wig to obtain a more realistic result. To adhere the loose strands of hair to the wig, we use the ventilation technique to get a more realistic look and we finish this step by combing it.

We fulfill the third step by sewing the natural hair to the base using strips.

And finally, we air the area of the hairline with loose strands to get a realistic result. The hair that we have comes from donations.

Throughout our lives, a lot of people have cared about the planet and it cares. But a very important quote that we should remember is the one of El Dalai Lama that says: “Wealth is not necessarily a bad thing when it has been earned honestly and neither other people nor the environment have suffered from it.” And also we have to mention Greta Thunberg, a young and inspiring activist that fights climate change. One of his most famous quotes says, "It's amazing that people who are here to talk about climate change arrive in private jets." And just like her, “Por los pelos” wants to lead by example by helping people without taking advantage of the planet or harming it.

                                       

We all have to support this type of cause, after all we are all humans. Which is the planet that we want to leave to our future generations? Are we hoping to just disappear? It has taken a lot of time to get to where we are, we have evolved a lot and we have come very far, we have to fight for fixing what we have destroyed. The wigs that we make are totally ecological, we use natural hair, which pollutes much less than synthetic hair. 

Also, we want to talk about why we are doing this. We have mentioned that with this post, you all are going to know our principles and values. We all know that going through a disease isn't a good situation, and we forget that mental health is also so important. We just want to give the chance to these strong people to look at the mirror and don't remember that they are sick. They are sick, okay, but they aren't sick people, they are A PERSON. The disease doesn't just represent them, they also have hopes, dreams, good times, bad times, illusions… they deserve just as much as any other person to live their lives with emotion. We can't reduce them to just a disease. We want to watch them looking at the mirror, smiling, and looking forward to a new day, without remembering every day that they are sick. We are just giving people hope and strength.

 And just like we are helping, you can also help. We use natural hair, but you also can make little actions to help with the climate change. Like recycle, use more the bicycle less than the car, use electric cars, make your house more sustainable, disconnect the chargers, switch off the TV and computer, take more the public transport… and this is just a small list of the many things that you can do to reduce the pollution and help the planet.

We just want to conclude that it is so important to be good, to help people, because you have to treat the others just like you want the others to treat you. This way, everyone would be nice with everyone and we can be the first to start doing it, like a big chain of favors. Help each other, care for the things that aren't good, try to solve these problems and act. We just can't just say it and don't do it, they can´t be just words. It is a reality that a lot of bad things happen on the earth, a lot of people suffer, there is enough pain to create more. We can relieve these people or make them go through it with another attitude. Attitude is so important in this case and we can give it to them. Also it is a reality that the earth needs us, we are ending with it, and this place has to be when the future generations come. We always have been taught to fix what we have destroyed and to take responsibility for the actions that we have made. We can not step back now.
